Bush verse is becoming more and more popular - it is good fun and very Australian. Most books of bush verse seem to be written by men. Here is a woman's view of the bush and its people.Janine is an award winning poet and has two books of Bush Poetry: "I Hope Yer Sheep Get Flyblown" and "Always Wear Clean Knickers".
A third book called "Bush Spirit" with poems by Janine and Jennifer (Janine's daughter) Haig is as enjoyable as the other two. The Mother and Daughter combination is well worth reading.
