Three Yowah Nut opals with sparkling opal patterns set in hinged sterling silver (stamped 925) with large swing type bail. Very nice. The middle opal has a couple of tiny pits which blend in extremely well with the overall patterns and does not detract from the beauty of this piece of jewellery. Opals measure approx (from top) 13mm x 10.5mm, 16mm xc8.5mm and 23mm x 9.5mm. Total length of pendant including bail is 49mm. Shown on Pandora Style chain (NOT included, display only ). Bail would take a 6-7mm cord.
Simple elegant design is all this lovely oval Yowah Matrix opal needs to set it off. Bezel set in a Sterling silver (stamped 925) band. Will fit most arms as you can squeeze to fit. When running a tape around the inside of the bracelet it measures approx 16.5cm (or approx 6.5 inches), this is the measurement of the actual band, does not include gap. The lovely opal with green blue/purple flashes measures approx 30mm x 16mm.
Wood has opalised in this boulder and formed opal pipes. Interesting patterns, this would make a lovely large pendant, or a spectacular centrepiece for a belt buckle. Measures 53mm x 37mm x 7mm
A slice down the middle has produced this almost mirror image pair of large pieces with opalised wood forming pipes. Very spectacular to look at, and better than photos. Total weight 125 grams. Measures 62mm x 50.5mm x 8mm and 65.5mm x 49.5mm x 6.5mm. Would make lovely large pendants, or great centre pieces for belt buckle. Or even paperweights for your desk. The colours show indoors.
4 Yowah Nut Opals with lovely flashes of blue green when moved (the smaller one at top of thumbnail photo has flashes of red). Total weight 3.48ct. The stone at top with red flash measures approximately 7.5mm x 6mm
One of a slice from a huge Yowah Nut with bright purple opal. Good colour, patterns and polish both sides. There are a couple of tiny pits where the opal did not infill, but these blend in very well with the overall patterns and do not detract from the overall beauty of the piece. Measures 113mm x 36mm x nearly 9mm.
Wood twigs have turned into opal pipes in this boulder. Bright blue/purple and a couple of spots of green surrounded by dark ironstone form stunning patterns. Nicer than the photos. Measures 47.5mm x 27mm x 7mm
